An investigation that gathers testimonies, traces, and fragments of an ephemeral yet revolutionary world, still capable of intercepting the contemporary with stories that anticipated its social and cultural complexity. Electronic music, dance, dress codes, self-affirmation, and the fight for civil rights have gone beyond the mere material scale of these disco-musical interiors, turning them into places of elaboration and experimentation for a new (trans-territorial) ecosystem of change. This multiplicity of trends and behaviors has shaped an exploratory code in which the nightclub became a space of negotiation, political activism, and often of rewriting the relationships and rights that governed it from within.
