Chiara Lionello is an architect and researcher based in Milan. She has a PhD in Architecture, that she has developed between the Politecnico of Milan and the Tokyo Institute of Technology. Her practice explores the relational value of design across different scales: projects are conceived as material presences that activate gestures, memories and shared experiences. Moving between interior, exhibition and product design, her research develops interactive tools for everyday life, using small scale systems to investigate the transformations of contemporary living.
